Large scale projects

State Flora grows plants to order for large, broad-scale revegetation, biodiversity and landscaping projects. We propagate over 1,000 different species of Australian native plants.

We have a huge growing capacity – with three hectares of nursery beds, two glasshouses, two environmentally controlled greenhouses, two plastic propagation tunnels and two large shade houses. Our modern production facilities mean we can produce over 2.5 million plants a year.

State Flora is a specialist grower of native plants for:
  • saline-affected sites
  • coastal regions
  • wetland areas
  • dry areas
  • shelterbelts.

State Flora is an accredited member of the Nursery & Garden Industry of SA, so you can be sure that any plants you buy from us are grown to consistent high quality standards.

Our growing cycle is variable – plants ordered six months in advance are ready for delivery every autumn and spring.

Contact us and talk to our expert staff. They can provide you technical advice on choosing the right plants for your projects.
